Savings and Loans
Becoming a member today gives you lifetime membership. You also become an owner of our credit union when you open a share account. Membership is available to all employees of Sunkist Growers and their affiliates: Growers and their employees, Packinghouses and Exchanges, and fruit trucking companies. As long as a member maintains the minimum balance in their Regular Share account they will remain a member for life, regardless if they leave the Sunkist family.
Regular Share Account
A $25 minimum balance must remain on deposit for the duration of membership. A $5 one-time membership fee will be accessed to open this account. Limited to six Regulation D transfers per month. Members may have money deposited directly into their account with Direct Deposit or payroll deduction through their employer. Statements are sent quarterly. This account earns a competitive monthly dividend on balances above $50.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means to you:
When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
Holiday Club Account
If you’re looking for a great way to save for the holidays our Holiday Club Account is perfect. Deposit money by payroll deduction, check, or cash and watch it grow. Your Holiday Club Account may be opened at any time. Funds will be disbursed to you on or about the first week of November. The account will automatically remain open for your continuing deposits. No additional withdrawals are permitted; however, if a withdrawal is necessary, the account will be closed until the next enrollment period. Dividends on this account are earned monthly.
Share Certificates are a type of savings account with a fixed rate and term. The interest rate is set at the time the account is opened and remains the same throughout the term. Lock in a higher dividend rate with your choice of a 3, 6 or 12 month certificate. Dividends are paid upon maturity of the certificate.
